TEAM SASKATCHEWAN JR PATS
Team SASK would like to thank the Brick committee for allowing us to compete in this years Super Novice Brick Tournament. It was the first time in the tournaments existence that a Saskatchewan team was in the final. The team held their first tryout in August and then over the Christmas break, and continued to have two more ice times. After the tryouts were over we feel we have selected the best players our province has to offer, we hope to be very competitive and have a another good showing at this years tournament. The Toronto Bulldogs Club wish good luck to all of you and remember every participant in this tournament is a winner!
TORONTO PRO HOCKEY
The selection process for this team began last year with a one week camp in Toronto in August and a final selection camp in December. When these kids first took the ice as a team, there was a sort of magic in the air that you could feel; the first practices were intense - as were the kids. Since that time the boys have grown as a team and as friends working hard at practices and tournaments preparing for the Brick Invitational, using each tournament and scrimmage before it as a chance to become better players, teammates and friends. All of us go through life setting goals and dreams but there are very few of us who accomplish either, what these boys have accomplished at just 10 years old, makes them winners already!
