CHICAGO JUNIOR BLACKHAWKS

The Chicago Junior Blackhawks were selected in late February 2010. Over 150 players made application and this was narrowed down to 68 players for a tryout session at the United Center. The Chicago Junior Blackhawks are proud to have both our state hockey governing board (AHAI) and the NHL'S Chicago Blackhawks as our sponsors. We look forward to great friendships and competition at The Brick 2010.

WINNIPEG JUNIOR JETS

The Winnipeg Junior Jets roster represents elite players from all across Manitoba. The selection process for this year's Jets team was a difficult one but head coach Tom Zajac and his staff feel they have selected a talented group of players who will compete hard against all the great teams in this year's tournament. The Junior Jets players, staff and family are very excited to be participating in this world class tournament and can't wait to spread some of that friendly Manitoba cheer in Alberta's capital.

DETROIT RED WINGS

Little Caesars, the parent organization of the Detroit Red Wings, has supported AAA hockey since 1968, the year the Little Caesars AAA Hockey Club was founded.  This organization remains one of the most respected and competitive amateur hockey organizations in North America.  Currently, 27 Little Caesars AAA alumni are playing, or have played, in the National Hockey League.  Hundreds of others have established collegiate and/or pro hockey careers.  It is from this foundation that this year's Detroit Red Wings Brick Team is built.

Our team is mainly composed of players from southeastern Michigan.  Many of these players were part of the 2000 Little Caesars team that was the #1 ranked Squirt (Atom) Minor team in the U.S. during the 2009-2010 season.  Since forming, the 2010 Detroit Red Wings Brick Team has won the Elite Prospects Hockey Showcase.  Our players, coaches and parents wish everyone in this year's Brick Tournament the best of luck.  We thank the organizers, sponsors and volunteers for their help in making this such a prestigious event.

CALIFORNIA 2000'S

The California 2000's took this photo at Paramount Iceland standing in front of the first Zamboni Ice Re-surfacing machine (Model A) invented by Frank Zamboni in 1940.  The sixteen player roster of the California 2000's was assembled for the purpose of attending this year's event and the players and parents would like to thank the Brick tournament directors, volunteers, and sponsors for making this week the most prestigious hockey experience in the world for ten year old hockey players.  Good luck to all teams attending.

MINNESOTA BLADES

Founded in 1989, the Minnesota Blades AAA Hockey Club is one of the most respected and competitive AAA hockey organizations in North America. The 2000 Minnesota Blades are truly honored to represent Minnesota in the prestigious Brick Hockey Tournament. The Blades organization would like to thank all of the tournament volunteers and organizers for providing these young hockey players a once in a life time opportunity to compete in the Brick tournament. Good luck to all of the 2010 Brick competitors!

MONTREAL ICE STORM

The Montreal Ice Storm is very pleased to be returning to the Brick tournament in 2010.  This year's team will be very competitive, and was selected following tryouts held in March and April and scouting of players at numerous games.  With players from not only the Montreal region, but also from places such as Quebec City, Sherbrooke, Trois Rivières, Victoriaville, Joliette, St Jean sur Richelieu and the Quebec North Shore and Beauce regions, as well as from the Maritimes, this year's team has representation from across the province and throughout the territory of the QMJHL!  The reputation of the fabulous Brick tournament has steadily grown throughout Quebec over the past few years, and this is reflected in the broad geographical and linguistic diversity of this year's team.  The Montreal Ice Storm organization, players, staff and families send a "Gros Merci" to The Brick Group and all of the many people involved in organizing and running this wonderful event.  Everyone is eagerly anticipating the trip out west and a great week of hockey and fun in Edmonton.

TEAM SASKATCHEWAN

We would like to thank the Brick committee for allowing Team Saskatchewan to compete in this year's Super Novice Brick Tournament. This is the first year that the Jr Pats will represent the Province of Saskatchewan at the Brick tournament.

The team held their first tryout over the Christmas break, and continued to have two more ice times. After the tryouts were over we feel we have selected the best players. Our province has to offer, we hope to be very competitive and have a good showing at this years tournament. The Jr Pats will also be competing at the Winnipeg Subway tournament. Good luck to all the participants.

TORONTO BULLDOGS

The Toronto Bulldogs Hockey Club is very excited to send for the tenth year, another very talented group of 10 year olds from across Ontario to the Annual Brick Super Novice Tournament.  These young men are looking forward to the excitement of competing against the best 10 year olds in North America.  As last summer, this high level of competition will allow these young players to display their talents in a healthy and exciting atmosphere, which will improve their skills and confidence.

From the friendly staff, coaches, parents and players of our Club, we give special thanks to the Brick Tournament Staff for inviting The Toronto Bulldogs to participate in this great Hockey event. The Toronto Bulldogs Club wish good luck to all of you and remember every participant in this tournament is a winner!

TORONTO PRO HOCKEY

The selection for this high profile Ontario Brick Team began with a one week camp in July and a final selection camp in December. Competition to make the team was fierce and challenging. From the first team practice it was evident this group of boys were a highly motivated group looking to excel. The group bonded instantly and has formed friendships that will last a lifetime. The Pro Hockey Brick Team spring season began with the Pro Hockey Shoot-out tournament where the boys displayed outstanding team play, but were disappointed with an OT loss in the semi-finals. Their next stop at the Cougars Classic Tournament in Chicago was filled with special memories, where the team emerged tournament champions with a 6-0 record which was shortly followed as finalists in the prestigious International Ronald MacDonald tournament. The coaching staff is very proud of the boys' commitment, sportsmanship, team focus and caliber of play. Their dedication to improving individual skills and team game is remarkable. The Pro Hockey Team (players, coaches and families) is excited as the ground work has been set to make the Brick Tournament a very memorable experience!
